JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs claim the No.2&3 slots

Morgan Stanley topped the Venture Intelligence League Table for Transaction Advisor to Private Equity and M&A Transactions in H1’2026 advising 3 deals worth $4.7 Billion. JP Morgan stood second, having advised 2 deals worth $4.5 Billion. Goldman Sachs followed with 2 deals worth $4 Billion. Jefferies & Co. (1 deal worth $3.9 Billion) and Ernst & Young ($2.3 Billion across 21 deals) completed the top five.

Biggest Transactions

Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Jefferies & co. advised publicly listed Sun Pharma on its $3.9 Billion acquisition of New York Stock Exchange listed pharmaceutical company Organon.

Moelis & Company advised $1.7 Billion acquisition of Indian premier league team Royal Challengers Bengaluru by global PE firm Blackstone along with other investors.

Ambit advised $ 1.6 Billion acquisition of toll road company Safeway Concessions by VINCI Highways.

Citi advised Paris-based Groupe ADP on the $1.08 billion divestment of its stake in GMR Airports.

Deloitte advised publicly listed Torrent Power’s $700 million acquisition of thermal power project company Nabha Power.

Ernst & Young topped the tables in terms of deal volume advising 21 deals during H1 ‘2026. This was followed by Avendus with 12 deals. IndigoEdge took the third spot, advising 11 deals each. Bathiya Advisors took the fourth spot advising 10 deals. Singhi Advisors, PwC and Grant Thornton India completed the top 5, advising 3 deals each.

By Industry

Under Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS), which emerged as the top industry in H1’26 (by value), o3 Capital and Citadel Management Consulting ($270 million) followed the top four advisors who were part of the Sun Pharma – Organon deal. It was followed by Axis Capital ($160 million). Allegro Advisors ($150 million) took the third spot. By deal volume, Bathiya Advisors. topped the HLS table advising 6 deals. Grant Thornton India and Ernst & Young came next advising 3 deals. Deloitte took the third spot advising 2 deals each.

Under IT & ITES industry (by value), Avendus topped the table with $1.360 Billion, followed by JP Morgan & Citi with deals worth $565 million. o3 Capital took the third spot advising deals worth $385 million. By deal volume, Avendus, PwC and IndigoEdge stood first advising 5 deals during H1’26. Veda Corporate Advisors, o3 Capital and Ernst & Young came next advising 4 deals each. Aritra Partners, Aeka Advisors, Bathiya Advisors and TH Global Capital with 3 deals took the third spot.

Under the Manufacturing industry (by value), Avener Capital. took the first spot advising deals worth $310 million. Ernst & Young followed next with $255 million across 5 deals. Singhi Advisors took the third spot advising deals worth $206 million. By deal volume, Ernst & Young and Singhi Advisors. topped the Manufacturing table, advising 5 deals. RBSA Advisors, IndigoEdge, and Grant Thornton India came next, having advised 2 deals.

Private Equity Deals

Avendus topped the Venture Intelligence League Table for Transaction Advisor to Private Equity Transactions in H1’2026, advising 10 deals worth $1,221 Million. Avener Capital stood second, having advised 2 deals worth $1,010 million. Ernst & Young followed with 8 deals worth $430 million. Ambit ($318 million across 2 deals) and Veda Corporate Advisors ($224 million across 8 deals) completed the top five for H1’ 2026.
