Sujal Shah, co-founder and CEO at Freecultr.com, has stepped down from his position at the company. Shah will be replaced by Freecultr co-founder Sandeep Singh. Prior to this, Singh worked as COO at Freecultr. Shah will now help international companies enter the Indian market, incubating and mentoring new business ventures. He will also be serving an advisory role to the Smile Group and other companies.
Freecultr had raised $4 million from Sequoia Capital in 2011 and $9 million from Russian venture firm, ru-Net, and existing investor, Sequoia Capital in July 2012.
