Global non-profit Accion, through its seed capital initiative Venture Lab, has invested in Varthana, which provides loans and support to affordable private schools in India, promoting access to and affordability of quality education for the poor.
Bangalore-headquartered Varthana was founded by Steve Hardgrave and Brajesh Mishra.
